We need your help to raise £300,000 to fund a new mammogram machine for the Stars Appeal Breast Unit at Salisbury District Hospital.
The mammogram machine will provide the very latest technology with 3D enhanced images to help diagnose breast cancer or give patients’ that reassurance when cancer is not present.
This piece of equipment, which takes an X-Ray image of the breast tissue, will also offer greater comfort to patients having mammograms, making what can be a daunting and uncomfortable experience feel more manageable.
Each year, around 4,200 people from our local community will benefit from this mammogram machine.
