The Burns and Plastics Unit (Odstock Ward) provides emergency plastic surgery, treatment for burns, trauma and complex microsurgical burns reconstruction. The Unit serves a population of four million people from the Channel Islands, all along the south coast and up to Basingstoke. The Unit is integrated with the major trauma unit at Southampton General Hospital.
Much of the Stars Appeal’s work in the Burns and Plastics Unit is enabled by the Burns Unit Support Group known as BUGS.
