Money raised will help towards the £2million we aim to raise each year to fund state-of-the-art equipment and projects across the Hospital.

Here area just two examples of what we are fundraising for this year:

• A new mammogram machine for the Stars Appeal Breast Unit which will provide the very latest technology with 3D enhanced images to help diagnose breast cancer or provide reassurance to patients when cancer is not present. (£300,000)
• State-of-the-art ophthalmic microscope to enable the opening of a second cataract operating theatre and provide the capability to introduce vitreo-retinal surgery. (£140,000)

This is in addition to ongoing projects funded by your generous donations, including provision of accommodation for parents of poorly babies and children, free Wi-Fi, free patient clothing and toiletry packs and companionship for older people.
