Lord and Lady Pembroke’s online auction 18 June-1 July

We are thrilled to be the beneficiaries of this wonderful auction organised by our President Lord Pembroke and Lady Pembroke with the help of Salisbury based auctioneers Woolley and Wallis.

From an Oscar-winning actress’s handbag to the chance to drive a vintage steam engine – the Auction has something for everyone.

Among the many tempting lots on offer are bottles of wine, jewellery, vintage handbags and works of art by artists including Sean Henry and Stephen Pettifer. Some of the “money can’t buy” lots include tours of stately homes such as Fonthill, Stourhead, Chettle House and Longford Castle, many including lunch with the hosts. Olivia Colman, star of The Crown, has donated the Prada bag that was made for her appearance at the 2019 Academy Awards, where she won Best Actress for The Favourite.

Salisbury auctioneers, Woolley and Wallis, are hosting the timed auction on their website, where bids can be left on all 59 lots up until 8pm on Friday 1st July. Any bids on the last seven lots (which include tickets to the Ladies’ Semi-Final at Wimbledon, a stay in a Pyrenees farmhouse, and a Banksy artwork donated by Lord and Lady Pembroke themselves) will be actioned later that evening in a live auction.

All proceeds from the auction will go towards the £1million we are aiming to raise for our work across the Hospital including the projects detailed here. There’s even the chance to contribute towards some of our projects directly.

The auction is running as a timed online auction until 1st July, with seven premium lots to be sold in a live auction at Wilton House that evening.
