Seventeen runners who took on the TCS London Marathon last month have raised a whopping £47,493.86 for the Stars Appeal.
Jamie Jackson, Dave Key, Matthew Morris, Pam Clover, Susie Kuczera, Graham Mankin, Helen Chave, Charles Carter, Ellis Carter, Richard Harmon, Reuben Tinto, Hannah Smith, Hollie Docherty, Becky Jackson, Billie Brunning, Rebecca Bullock and Aishlen Taylor, joined thousands of runners on Sunday, April 26, to complete the iconic 26.2-mile route.
The route took them from Greenwich Park to The Mall, passing landmarks including Tower Bridge, the London Eye, the Cutty Sark and the Houses of Parliament.
Helena Sinclair, of the Stars Appeal, said: “We are incredibly grateful to our fantastic team of London Marathon runners for raising such an incredible total. Their dedication and determination have been truly inspiring. A huge thank you as well to everyone who donated so generously to support their fundraising efforts. The money raised will help us continue to enhance care for patients and their families and support the staff who care for them at Salisbury Hospital.”
