Our CT Scanner Campaign has topped £550,000 thanks to huge local support and events such as the Rockbourne Fair which raised and presented us with a wonderful £57,807!
When we launched the campaign back in May, no one imagined how quickly the money would be raised.
“If you had told me back then that by November we would have reached more than £550,000, I would not have believed you,” said hospital chairman Luke March. “Not because I doubted the generosity of the Salisbury public but simply because it is such a huge amount of money. But the response has been utterly incredible. Everyone in Salisbury has pulled together and made this happen. It is very humbling for us to see what this hospital means to local people.”
With just £100,000 to go, now is the time to redouble our efforts, reach the £650,000 target and buy this life-saving machine.
A second CT scanner for the hospital will enable 12,000 patients per year to receive CT scans more quickly. This means medical problems will be diagnosed earlier and patients can start treatment as soon as possible, giving them the best chance of making a recovery.
