Challenge yourself and support patients and staff at Salisbury Hospital as you climb Snowdon, by night
Our fundraising adventures challenge you from sign-up to finish line, as you raise vital funds for our hospital charity, walk with new-found friends, and experience breathtaking scenery on the way.
Snowdonia National Park in North Wales is synonymous with beautiful, rugged landscapes and wonderful trekking and outdoor pursuits. The highest mountain in England and Wales at 1085m, Snowdon’s Welsh name is Yr Wyddfa, reputedly the burial place of a mythical giant. A popular summit trek by day, it presents a tough and rewarding challenge by night.
Standing at the summit by moonlight is unforgettable, as is seeing the sunrise from the mountain slopes as we descend. Witnessing the spectacular landscapes opening up before us as the day grows lighter is simply magical.
Our base for this challenge is a friendly hotel, which makes for a comfortable, sociable start to our challenge as we tuck into fantastic food and get to know each other. At the end, we gather back together in the warm and celebrate our overnight achievement with a slap-up breakfast!
NOTE: This is an OPEN challenge run by our travel partners Discover Adventure. We invite you to join this trek to raise funds for the Stars Appeal. You’ll be trekking with people from across the UK, raising funds for many different charities.
