Our MRI Scanner Campaign has hit £600,000!

“Our campaign to raise £1.5million to buy and install a second MRI scanner at Salisbury District Hospital has reached the £600,000 mark. Huge thanks to all of you who have supported us so far and enabled us to reach this important milestone.

A second scanner will mean patients can have their MRI scans faster here at their local hospital, and not have to travel elsewhere. And cancer, stroke, heart and many other patients will benefit from the very latest MRI diagnostic techniques. You can read all about the campaign, and the thousands of local people a second MRI scanner will help here http://www.starsappeal.org/projectsmain/details/projects/mri-scanner-campaign/

We now have £900,000 left to raise in order to buy the scanner and construct the building which will house it. There are lots of opportunities to support the MRI Scanner Campaign including the Walk for Wards on Sunday 1st July at Wilton House – I hope you can join us. And there are details of easy ways to donate here www.starsappeal.org/how-to-help/donate/

Thanks so much for your support so far and please join me in continuing your support to this important campaign.”
